On the track, Changeover had very few equals, winning at the highest level of racing from two years of age through to six.

As a juvenile, Changeover recorded two wins, including the Listed PGG Wrightson NZ Yearling Sales Series Open but it was as a 3yo that Changeover shone the brightest winning 14 races – the last 10 on end – in a season that saw him capture the Group 1 Northern Derby, Group 1 NZ Derby, Group 1 Australasian Breeders Crown Final and the Listed Harness Jewels Emerald. Other notable victories included the Group 2 3YO Flying Stakes, Group 2 Southern Supremacy Final, Group 3 Rising Stars Championship, Listed Yearling Sales Series Final and Listed Waikato Guineas. As a result of his deeds that season he was not surprisingly crowned the NZ 3YO Pacing Colt of the Year.

At 4 Changeover claimed the Group 2 Superstars Championship fresh up before going on to win the Group 1 Taylor Mile and 4YO Harness Jewels Emerald, becoming the first horse to record back to back Jewels victories.

As a 5yo, Changeover claimed Australasian racing’s biggest prize, the NZ Trotting Cup, in a new NZ and World Record time of 3:56.4. The 2009 season also resulted in him recording his career best time of 1:53.4 when winning the Group 1 Len Smith Mile at Menangle, New South Wales. He also won the Group 2 Bendigo Cup, Group 2 Heat of the Inter Dominion Series and the Listed Spring Cup.

At 6 Changeover won the Group 2 Waikato Flying Mile in a slick 1:55.1.

In The Pocket p3, 1:49.6TT was a terrific racehorse winning $792,422 and 7 races, including the Governors Cup Final, as a juvenile in 1989 before setting a new ALL AGE World Record of 1:50.8f as a 3yo and winning a division of the New Jersey Cup, NJSS Final and elims of the Little Brown Jug, Adios Stks, Messenger Stakes and Oliver Wendall Holmes. All up he won 17 races, $1,537,473 in stakes-money and recorded a career best 1:49.6 when time trialled as a 3yo.

A talented racehorse, Chaangerr won a heat of the DB Draught Fillies Series before finishing 2nd in the Group 1 Final as a 3yo then won four of her five starts as a 4yo, culminating in victory in the North Island Breeders Stakes and being awarded 4YO Mare of the Year in 1994/95.
