As a 2yo CR Commando established himself as the fastest 2YO trotter of all time when he won the Breeders’ Crown Final at Colonial Downs in a world record 1:53.4 after earlier winning his elmination heat. He also won a Pennsylvania Sires Stakes and was first past the post in both the Bluegrass Stakes and International Stallion Stakes before being subsequently disqualified. He was voted the USTA 2YO Trotting Colt of the Year for 1998.
At three, he was victorious in the Colonial Trot & an elimination of the Canadian Trotting Classic, as well as finishing 3rd in the $480,000 Final of the Canadian Trotting Classic.

Royal Troubador - Dual World Record Holder

As a 2YO, Royal Troubador p2, 1:57.2 $899,501 was voted US 2YO Trotter Of The Year & set world records on both half-mile & five-eighths mile tracks & numbered the Breeders' Crown, Matron Stakes, Harriman Trot & Champlain Stk amongst his numerous wins at that age. At 3 he added such time honoured races as the Dexter Cup & Yonkers Trot, as well as finishing 3rd in both his heats of the Hambletonian.

To date he is the sire of 109 in 2:00 & 13 in 1:55 despite never having overly large crops - 16 crops for 363 registered. He is responsible for three Breeders’ Crown champions so far - CR Commando (t2, 1:53.4 $378,602), CR Renegade (t3, 1:53.8 $903,785) & the former fastest 2YO trotting filly of all time CR Kay Suzie (t4, 1:52.6 $1,611,131).

As a 2 year old she was runner up in the Ohio Standardbred Stakes when Superlou set her world record. At 3, Laurna Jean won multiple stakes events such as the Reynolds Memorial, Hanover-Hempt Stk (defeating World Record holder Superlou), straight heats of the Adrian Futurity, etc. She also finished 2nd to Superlou in both her heats of the Buckette.
