Former kiwi trotter The Bohemian was too strong for his rivals in the Group 1 Taylor Made Travel NSW Trotters Derby (2,300m) at Tabcorp Park, Menangle on Saturday, leading throughout to score comfortably from Stoned I Am.

Holding the lead from barrier one, The Bohemian never looked in danger of being beaten at any stage in the running, with the Anthony Crossland trained gelding confidently kicking away in the straight to coast to a 2.5m win over Stoned I Am and I See Icy Earl.

Third in last season's Harness Jewels 2YO Ruby, The Bohemian has put together a tidy record across the Tasman, winning 5 of his 9 Australian starts to date and almost $50,000 in stakes-earnings in total.

Bred by Margaret Townley, The Bohemian is another great example of the highly successful Continentalman - Sundon cross, being out of the Sundon mare Sun Goddess.
