The Emma Stewart trained 2yo made use of her good draw, taking charge off the gate and leading throughout much of the race before allowing race favourite La Machane to take over with 800m to go. Once in the straight The Good Times switched to the outside and was able to reel in La Machane to score by a head at the line and record a mile rate of 1:59.4.
It was the talented filly's third win from just four starts with her slice of the Tatlow prize-money improving her stakes-earnings to just over $42,000.
The Good Times is the 12th foal of exceptional broodmare Larrakeyah Lady, the dam of Grand Circuit star Safe And Sound ($995,606), Gold Rocket ($393,387), Massarua ($282,692) and Safeguard ($112,165).
The 2YO Colts & Geldings Tatlow Stakes Final was taken out the previous weekend by the kiwi owned and bred colt Scandalman, also by Live Or Die.
