Having won the Group 1 NSW Trotters Derby the previous weekend, the Anthony Crossland trained and driven gelding took full advantage of the sprint lane to charge home and score by 3.3m from the well supported Waikare Aristocrat in a slick mile rate of 2:00.6.
It was The Bohemian’s fifth win from seven starts this season, improving his earnings to $65,057.
Bred by Margaret Townley the talented former kiwi trotter is out of the Sundon mare Sun Godess.
It was a good weekend in NZ too for Continentalman, with All About Alfie winning the first at Ashburton on Monday, Jaccka Justy destroying his opposition at Forbury Park on Thursday evening and Talkmeintoit running a nice third in the Group 1 3YO Ruby at Ashburton on Harness Jewels day.
