Rocknroll Hanover filly keeps on winning
Brilliant US 3yo filly Put On A Show continued her winning ways over the weekend, taking out a US$88,000 division of the Tarport Hap at the Meadowlands on Saturday (US time).
The Chris Ryder trained filly was once again a class above her rivals, careering away to an easy as you like four and a quarter length win in a career best equalling time of 1:50 for the mile.
To cap off a great result for her sire, Put On A Show led home a Rocknroll Hanover trifecta with Dancin Barefoot and Seriously filling the minor placings.
The daughter of champion Artsplace mare Steinam's Place has now won 13 of her 16 lifetime starts for earnings of $US1,217,363.
The remaining Tarport Hap division was won by the classy Four Starzzz Shark filly Dancinwiththestarz, whom recorded her 14th lifetime win from 19 starts.
In other good results for the current leading 3yo pacing sire, Rocknroll Hanover, Meadowlands Pace elim winner Rockin Image held on in a tight finish at The Meadows on Saturday afternoon to claim the first of the $50,000 Adios eliminations and secure a spot in next weekend's US$500,000 Final.
