Rocknroll Hanover filly equals World Record

Unbeaten North American 2yo filly Pretty Katherine impressed in her latest victory, equalling the world record for juvenile pacing fillies when winning a Can$35,000 elimination of the She's A Great Lady Stakes in 1:50.6 at Mohawk Racetrack on August 28 (Canadian time).

The Casie Coleman trained daughter of Rocknroll Hanover did it with ease too, sprinting away from her rivals in the straight to score by five and quarter lengths from Artiscape filly Shyaway and equal A And G'sconfusion's 2007 record.

A last start winner of an Eternal Camnation Stakes division, Pretty Katherine has won all four of her race-day starts to date for stakes earnings of just over US$77,000 and will undoubtedly start a short priced favourite for this weekend's running of the Can$688,000 She's A Great Lady Final.

The talented filly is the second foal of former star juvenile Fox Valley Shaker (Incredible Finale) - the winner of US$427,164 and the runner-up in the She's A Great Lady Final back in 2004.

Another Casie Coleman trained Rocknroll Hanover filly was also in record setting form over the weekend, with the year older filly Ticket To Rock recording a stakes and track record 1:52.6 when taking out the US$100,000 New Jersey Sires Stakes 3YO Fillies Final at Freehold Raceway on the 28th.

It was the filly's ninth career win, taking her lifetime earnings to $421,495.
