I Can Doosit claims Inter Dominion Heat
Champion kiwi trotter and reigning Inter Dominion champ I Can Doosit continued his devastating form of late in the third of the Seelite Windows and Doors Inter Dominion Trotting Championship heats (2,690m), easily accounting for Aussie champ Sundons Gift at Shepparton on Saturday evening.
The Mark Purdon and Grant Payne trained trotter went straight to the lead in the Group 3 feature and from there on in had the race safely in his keeping, cruising to a 11.7m win over an unlucky Sundons Gift who was held up until late.
The win was the 21st of I Can Doosit's career, taking his stakes earnings to $694,743.
