Justcallmemiki claims stakes race win on Australian debut

The New Zealand bred Justcallmemiki was impressive on his Australian debut, easily accounting for a small but quality field in the Group 3 Chandon 4YO Classic at Gloucester Park on Friday evening.
The Greg and Skye Bond trained son of Always B Miki led throughout and was untroubled in scoring by 8.1m from the 2024 Group winner Waverider and WA Derby place-getter Thenu Came Along.
Purchased as a weanling by the Bonds, Justcallmemiki won four races in New Zealand and has now won five of his 13 starts.
Bred by Alta Breeding Co. Ltd, Justcallmemiki is out of the stakes winning Mach Three mare (Famous) Alchemist, making him a half-brother to the 2024 Group 2 Superstars Championship winner Alta Meteor.
