Last start Metro Pace winner Lost In Time was a comfortable winner of his $58,000 division of the International Stallion Stakes at The Red Mile yesterday afternoon, coasting to a three length victory.

Second through the first quarter, Lost In Time and Scott Zeron surged to the lead by the half way marker and always looked to have the race in their control, sprinting clear in the straight to score by three lengths over I'm A Big Deal and Twin B Tuffenuff in a time of 1:50.8 for the mile.

Lost In Time's record now stands at three wins and two seconds from five starts for earnings of over $454,000.

The eighth foal of the stakes placed Artiscape mare Summer Mystery, Lost In Time was a $47,000 Lexington Select purchase last year for A Rocknroll Dance's former trainer Jim Mulinix.

The leading North American first season sire's down-under foals look to be just as precocious as their Northern Hemisphere counterparts with one of the first 2-year-old workouts in New Zealand taken out on Saturday by the A Rocknroll Dance filly Gold Rocks, a half-sister to the six-time Group One winner Gold Ace, who ran home in 28.3 at Pukekohe.
