The latest NZ Sires Stakes 2YO Fillies Heat was a terrific result for first season sire A Rocknroll Dance with his daughters Miss Streisand, One Kool Kat and Gold Rocks finishing first, second and fourth respectively at Alexandra Park on Friday.

The Tony Herlihy MNZM trained Miss Streisand was hugely impressive in taking out the $20,000 1700m event.

Having drawn wide and near last heading into the straight the final time, Miss Streisand flew home out wide to down the promising but green One Kool Kat by a length and a quarter in a mile rate of 1:58.1. (Watch replay)

The Ray Green trained Gold Rocks also produced a nice effort for fourth, running home strongly to finish just two and half lengths off the winner at only her second race-day start.

The win was Miss Streisand's second to date, with the talented filly having previously won a Young Guns Heat, as well as finishing third to Princess Tiffany in the Group 2 Delightful Lady at the beginning of March.

Bred by Breckon Farms, Miss Streisand is out of the winning Christian Cullen mare Goodlookinggirl, making her a half to last season's NZ 2YO Pacing Filly of the Year and current 3YO star Elle Mac.
