There were some nice performances by A Rocknroll Dance fillies in North America over the weekend with Rockn Philly and Scuola Hanover both claiming stakes race victories.

The Jim King Jr. trained 2-year-old Rockn Philly became her sire's latest $100,000 earner with an easy win in a Simpson Stakes division at Harrah's Philadelphia on September 27.

The talented filly took control of the race just after the quarter pole and pulled clear in the straight to score by two and a half lengths in a time of  1:52.4.

Out of a Western Hanover mare, Rockn Philly is the winner of three races and $118,028 in stakes to date.

At The Meadows racetrack the following day the Andrew Stafford trained 3-year-old Scuola Hanover was a comfortable winner of her Keystone Classic division in a career best mark of 1:52.

The 2017 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championship runner-up has now won five races and just over $192,000 in stakes-money.

Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Scuola Hanover  is out of the former Sweetheart Stakes winner So Artsi, a daughter of Artsplace.
