A colt by the leading North American first crop sire A Rocknroll Dance is the highest priced pacing yearling at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale at the end of Day 2, after selling for $330,000.

A terrific type, Hip 130 (Spectrum), whom attracted the hefty price tag, is bred to be something special being the first foal of the 2012 US 2YO Pacing Filly of the Year Somwherovrarainbow, who in turn is a daughter of the multiple Award winning, Hall of Fame mare Rainbow Blue.

Sold to dissolve a breeding partnership, the colt attracted plenty of interest and was eventually purchased by Diamond Creek Racing, with Diamond Creek Farm a co-breeder of the colt.

Off the back of some outstanding results from his debut crop of 2-year-olds, including siring the recent Metro Pace winner Lost In Time, the demand was strong across the board for yearlings by A Rocknroll Dance with two others making six-figures and an overall average after Day 2 of $151,250.
