A Rocknroll Dance sires PASS double

Fillies by first season sire A Rocknroll Dance dominated the latest Pennsylvania Sire Stakes (PASS) action for 2-year-olds at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, winning two of the three divisions contested on August 14.

Previous PASS winner Cuts Like A Knife backed up last week's win with an all the way victory in the first of the $52,000 divisions, recording a new lifetime best time of 1:53 when holding out the Somebeachsomewhere filly Alexa's Power.

It was the Bruce Saunders trained filly's third career win, taking her earnings for the year to date to $62,718.

In the last of the divisions the Andrew Stafford trained Scuola Hanover was an impressive winner by one and a quarter lengths over the previously unbeaten Come See The Show.

The winning time of 1:53.8 was a new lifetime best for the rapidly improving youngster.

She is the winner of two races to date and $51,611 in stakes.

The stakes race winners continued the following day at The Downs for A Rocknroll Dance with Sidewalk Dancer a stunning five length winner of her $20,000 The Stallion Series division in a swift 1:52.6.
