First season pacing sire Always B Miki has produced yet another North American Grand Circuit winner from his first crop, with the Nancy Takter trained Always A Miki taking out the last of the year’s juvenile features, the $371,900 Governor’s Cup at the Meadowlands on Saturday.

Away quickly from gate six, Always A Miki settled in second spot before making a play for the lead and quickly handing up to the Breeders Crown dead heat winner Summa Cum Laude.

It was Always A Miki’s fifth win of the season and took his earnings to $331,261.
