The progeny of Always B Miki dominated the Breeders Crown eliminations at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday evening, winning three out of four of the eliminations for 2-year-old pacers.

The leading first season sire’s outstanding first crop sons Perfect Sting and Southwind Gendry simply picked up where they left off at The Red Mile, continuing on their winning ways with equally commanding wins in their respective eliminations.

Perfect Sting rolled to the top by the half way point and put paid to his rivals in the home straight to score an easy three and three-quarter lengths victory in 1:50 4/5.

The Joe Hollaway trained colt remains unbeaten in nine starts to date and has amassed $316,800 in stakes earnings so far in 2020.

Southwind Gendry won in a similar fashion, taking the lead by the half mile and running away with it in the stretch to cross the line three lengths clear of the second placed getter Caviart Lotus.

The Ron Burke charge has now won his last seven races in a row and remains the richest 2-year-old male pacer of 2020 with stakes winnings of  $421,769.

In the second of the 2-year-old fillies eliminations the regally bred JK Alwaysbalady charged home late to nab Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Super Final winner Scarlett Hanover on the line in a career best time of 1:51 flat.

It was the second lifetime win for the multiple Grand Circuit placed filly.
