Perfect Sting made it six straight wins with a dominant 1:49 4/5 victory in the $250,000 Kentucky Sires Stakes Final for 2YO Pacing Colts & Geldings at The Red Mile today.

The Joe Holloway trained colt took control of the race by the half and never looked like being headed from then on in, crossing the line two and a half lengths clear of his nearest rival in his second sub 1:50 win of the season.

Perfect Sting is now unbeaten in six race day starts and has banked $194,400 in stakes.

The son of Always B Miki is the only 2-year-old to date in 2020 to have paced better than 1:50 and has now done it twice.

The Brittany Farms and Val D’Or Farms homebred is out of the fastest 3-year-old pacing filly of all time, Shebestingin, a $760,000 earning daughter of Bettor’s Delight whose 2013 1:47 world record life-time mark still stands today and was only lowered as the all age distaff record in 2019 by kiwi mare Shartin.

Always B Miki’s first crop progeny have surpassed $1 million in stakes earnings to date in 2020.
