Daughters of Always B Miki took out both Grand Circuit races for 3-year-old pacing fillies at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono yesterday, with Grace Hill franking her outstanding recent form with victory in the $250,000 James M Lynch Memorial and Nashville Elgenna capturing the $125,000 Consolation.

Grace Hill made it three stakes wins on the trot and her third consecutive sub 1:50 win with a superb front running performance in the Lynch Memorial in which she proved too strong for Fire Start Hanover once again, defeating last year’s Breeders Crown winner by three-quarters of a length at the line in a time of 1:49 flat.

The $75,000 Lexington Select graduate has now banked $494,355 in stakes money and won eight races.

Bred by White Birch Farm, she is the best performed foal of the Jugette winner Western Silk, a $1.7 million earning daughter of Western Terror.

Earlier on the card, the royally bred Nashville Elgenna recorded her biggest win to date with a career best 1:50 2/5ths victory in the $125,000 Lynch Consolation, sprinting home powerfully to score by one and quarter lengths.

It was her fifth career win, improving her earnings to $111,200.

Nashville Elgenna is the first foal of the four-time O’Brien Award winner Androvette (River King), whom won 45 races and over $3.5 million in stakes.

Always B Miki’s sweep very nearly extended to the main feature for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings, with his son Perfect Sting second by the barest of margins in the $300,000 Max C Hempt Memorial.

The 2020 US 2YO Pacing Colt of the Year is fast closing in on $1,000,000 in stakes now having won $984,233.
