Always B Miki filly Grace Hill picked up her third Pennsylvania Sires Stakes division win in a tight finish at The Downs At Mohegan Sun Pocono on Monday (US time), recording the fastest time for a 2yo pacer on a 1000m track this season and becoming the richest juvenile filly of 2020 in the process.

Midfield for most of the first half, Grace Hill advanced with cover to sit parked by the three-quarter pole and was able to get the upper-hand early in the straight before holding out a pair of late challengers in the final strides to win by a head in a swift 1:51 mile rate.

Her winning time of 1:51 is the fastest recorded by a 2-year-old pacer on a five-eighths of a mile track in 2020 to date.

The winning stake also saw Grace Hill become the richest juvenile filly of the season so far with her earnings now standing at $124,522.

A $75,000 Lexington Select purchase, Grace Hill is out of the $1.7 million earning Western Terror mare Western Silk, winner of the Jugette and Fan Hanover amongst numerous other stakes races.
