The Francisco Del Cid trained Andover Hall gelding Stealth Hanover caused somewhat of a boil over in the last of the John Simpson Memorial Divisions at Harrah's Philadelphia on September 17, defeating last start Hambletonian winner Perfect Spirit in a new track record time for a 3-year-old gelding trotter.

After winning a Liberty Bell division the previous weekend, Stealth Hanover's good form continued, leading throughout in the $30,000 feature to cross the line a length and a quarter clear of fellow son of Andover Hall Perfect Spirit.

Stealth Hanover's time of 1:52 on the five-eighths of a mile track lowered the previous record held by the champion square-gaiter Pinkman by two-fifths of a second.

It was Stealth Hanover's fifth win this year.

In what was a good weekend for Andover Hall (pictured), the beautifully bred last start Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championship winner Dover Dan backed up last weekend's big feature win with a second placing to What The Hill in the $684,000 Canadian Trotting Classic at Mohawk Raceway on the 16th.
