The regally bred Dover Dan was a stylish winner of the $252,000 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes (PASS) Championship Final for 3-year-old trotting colts and geldings at Harrah's Philadelphia on September 3 (US time).

A little slow off the gate, the Andover Hall colt raced in fourth spot for much of the trip before sweeping past his rivals on the home turn on route to an easy three and three-quarters of length victory in 1:53.6. Watch replay.

A PASS division winner in June, Dover Dan is the winner of seven races, including a Bluegrass Stakes victory as a 2-year-old last year, and $332,047 in stakes money to date.

Bred to be good, Dover Dan is out of trotting royalty in the form of Hall Of Fame mare CR Kay Suzie, a multiple award winning filly and US Horse of the Year as a 3-year-old.
