The Marcus Melander trained Evaluate produced a stunning performance to take out his Pennsylvania Sire Stakes (PASS) division for 3YO Trotting Colts and Geldings at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono on May 26.

The lightly raced colt announced he was a serious contender for the Hambletonian in a few months time when he swept past last week's PASS winner Captain Morgan at the top of the home straight on route to a one and quarter length victory in a stunning 1:51.8 - the fastest time recorded by a three-year-old trotter this year and the second fastest overall on a five-eighths track.

The Andover Hall colt slashed his own lifetime mark by more than three seconds and took his record to three wins and three seconds from six starts to date.

The promising colt is out of the lightly raced Classic Photo mare Blathin, a half sister to the $2.5 million dollar earning Canadian Hall of Fame trotter Wesgate Crown.
