Exciting 2-year-old trotting filly Jaxnme recorded her second Group One win of the season with a flawless front-running performance in the $100,000 Aldebaran Park Vicbred Super Series 2YO Trotting Fillies Final (2,240m) at Tabcorp Park Melton on Friday evening.

The big Andover Hall filly found the front by the first turn and while others around her made mistakes, Jaxnme never put a foot wrong, eventually trotting home the winner by 6.2 metres from The Best Dream.

Jaxnme’s mile rate of 2:00.2 was one of the fastest of the six trotting Group One’s contested on the night, with only the three-year-old colt Kyvalley Clichy and the four-year-old mare Moonlight Dream recording faster race times.

Having already won the Group One Vicbred Home Grown Final back in May, the Russell Jack trainee is now the winner of four races and $86,200 in stakes.

Bred and raced by Graeme Love, Debbie Jack and Brocq Robertson, Jaxnme is the first foal of the unraced Muscle Hill mare I Am Who I Am, a daughter of the 2010 NZ Trotting Derby winner Shezoneoftheboyz.

The talented 2-year-old will now be aimed at the Breeders Crown series.

It was a successful evening for Jaxnme’s sire Andover Hall with his sons Andover Sun and Is That A Bid finishing second and fourth respectively in the Group One 2YO Trotting Colts and Geldings Final and the three-year-old Quick Andover filling the third spot in the Group 3 3YO Silver Trot.

Andover Hall is currently Australia’s leading sire of two-year-old trotters, with three out of the four richest two-year-old's being by him.
