The brilliant Ake Svanstedt trained juvenile trotting filly Plunge Blue Chip kept her unbeaten record intact with another New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) division victory in track record time at Tioga Downs on August 13.

Already a track record holder at Buffalo Raceway and the winner of all three of her previous starts, Plunge Blue Chip was simply far too classy in her $37,966 feature - taking command of the race by the mid-way point and never giving her rivals a look in she trotted out to a one and three-quarter length win over Lucky Rainbow in a swift 1:55.2.

Her time lowered the previous track record jointly held by four horses, including the multiple New York Sire Stake champion Barn Bella and former world champion Jolene Jolene, by a fifth of a second.

The winner of four NYSS divisions, Plunge Blue Chip has banked just over $54,000 in stakes for the year to date.

It was a good night for Plunge Blue Chip's sire Muscle Mass, with another daughter in White Cheetah taking out the second of the NYSS divisions on the card, after finishing the runner-up in her two previous NYSS races.

The remaining NYSS division was won by a daughter of Muscle Mass's sire Muscles Yankee, with the debutant Setntheworldonfire scoring at huge odds.
