Arrhythmia dominant in NSW Oaks
Outstanding filly Arrhythmia snared her first Group 1 win in the $200,000 NSW Oaks at Menangle on Saturday night with a brilliant front running performance.
The daughter of Vincent charged to the lead by the first bend and never gave her rivals a look in, winning by a length and three-quarters from Senses, who flashed home late for second, in a career best time of 1:50.
A dual Group 2 winner at two, Arrhythmia has now won 10 of her 12 starts and banked $263,435 in stakes earnings.
The Emma Stewart trained filly is out of the Somebeachsomewhere mare Jo An Leonie, a half-sister to another of Stewart’s current star’s in the Group 1 winner Miki To Success.
Arrhythmia was the third stakes winner for Vincent in just the past month, with Mad Monday winning the Group 2 Preux Chevalier 4YO Classic at Gloucester Park on the 17th of April and Gottagoodfeeling the Group 3 Southern 2YO Fillies Classic at Winton on the 12th.
