Captain Crunch sired the first three runners home in a division of the Keystone Classic for 2-year-old colts and geldings at Hollywood Casino at the Meadows, with Captain Fear Not winning from Syed Ali K and Single Action.

Scratched from the recent Pennsylvania Sires Stakes Championship Final due to illness, after having won two legs of the series, Captain Fear Not strode to the lead through the second quarter and held the field at bay to comfortably win by a length and a quarter from a fast finishing Syed Ali K in 1:51.8.

Captain Fear Not, the winner of three races and almost $75,000 in stakes earnings, is out of a mare by Ponder, while the two place-getters are both out of Bettorʻs Delight mares.

The other Keystone division for 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings was won by Dublin Dasher, a son of Always B Miki, whilst Nevele Rʻs trotting stallion Father Patrick had a large hand to play in both trotting Keystone Classic divisions, siring the winner of the first, Ordained, and his sire son Greenshoe producing the winner of the second division, White Shoe Hanover.
