Creatine colt too good in PASS division

26 July 2021

Creatine colt Jujubee continued his terrific form of 2021 with a strong win in a Super Bowl Pennsylvania Sires Stakes (PASS) division for 3yo trotting colts and geldings at The Meadows on Saturday (NZ time).

The ultra-consistent square-gaiter took control of the race off the back of sizzling 26 and 4/5ths opening quarter, easing the tempo once in front before kicking clear of his rivals on the home turn to score a comfortable three and three-quarter length victory in a career best time of 1:53.1.

It was the Greg Wright Jr trained trotter’s second PASS division win of 2021 and his ninth win from 12 race day starts this year, with the colt also recording two close second placings this season as well.

The colt is the winner of 11 races in total and stakes earnings of $148,607.

A homebred, Jujubee is the best performed foal to date of the Cantab Hall mare La Cantera.
