The Creatine filly Argyle is going from strength to strength in 2021, notching up her fourth consecutive win when taking out a $71,766 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes “Stenographer” division for 3-year-old trotting fillies at The Meadows yesterday.

The Julie Millar trained trotter slotted into the trail from barrier five, came off the leaders shoulder on the home turn, easily accounted for the mistake making front runner and then held off the fast finishing back maker Melania to win by half a length.

The ultra-consistent 3-year-old has never finished further back than in third place this season and has banked $71,279 in lifetime earnings to date.

A Diamond Creek Farm homebred, Argyle is out of the Kadabra mare Swan And Only, an unraced half-sister to four $300,000 plus earners, including the successful stallion Swan For All, the sire of trotting stars Hannelore Hanover and Fiftydallarbill.

Creatine’s best performed foal to date, Take All Comers, continued to foot it with the best at Grand Circuit level over the weekend, qualifying for next weekend’s $1,000,000 Hambletonian Final with a fourth place finish in the second of the eliminations at The Meadowlands yesterday afternoon, trotting the fastest last quarter of either heat in the process.
