Creatine sires Dan Patch Award winner

Jujubee has been crowned the 2021 US 3YO Trotting Colt of the Year by the US Harness Writers Association.

The brilliant first crop son of Creatine had a sensational season, winning 14 of his 18 starts in 2021, and finishing runner-up in a further three, with his major wins including the Breeders Crown, the Kentucky Futurity and Pennsylvania Sires Stakes Championship.

Jujubee was the richest male trotter in North America this year, with stakes earnings of $948,791.

The Greg Wright trained square-gaiter showed dazzling speed all season and became the first three-year-old trotting colt in history to record multiple sub 1:50 wins.

He also set a new stakes race record for the Breeders Crown Final – bettering the time set by Father Patrick and Bar Hopping.

Jujubee is out of the Cantab Hall mare La Cantera.
