The Tony Alagna trained Father Patrick filly Heart On Fire timed her run to perfection in the $240,000 The Kentuckiana Stallion Management for 2-year-old trotting fillies at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, Indiana on September 23, getting up in the very last stride to take out the race.

After leading through the first quarter Heart On Fire and champion kiwi reinsman Dexter Dunn handed up to the New York Sires Stakes Championship winner Kayleigh S when she came looking for the lead.

Giving Kayleigh S a one and a half length advantage going into the straight, Heart On Fire slowly but surely wore down the pacemaker to win by a head on the line.

It was Heart On Fire’s third career win from six starts, with the youngster having now banked $154,870.

She is out of the Muscle Hill mare Corazon Blue Chip, making her a half to the talented types Valentina Blu and Fourth Dimension, who were both leading juveniles - with the former placed in last year’s Mohawk Million and the later the 2017 US 2YO Male Trotter of the Year.
