The Phil Williamson trained Isolate was an impressive winner of the $45,000 Group 3 Sires Stakes Classique for 3-year-old trotting fillies at Addington last night, storming home late to down the two race favourites.

Having spent the majority of the trip three back on the running rail, the lightly raced filly showed a terrific turn of foot when the gaps appeared in the straight to reel in the leaders and score by a head from Sunnys Sister and the Creatine filly, the Northern Oaks winner Walkinonsunshine.

It was the regally bred Isolateʻs third raceday start and her first win, with it taking her earnings to $25,500.

Bred by Trevor Casey, Isolate is out of the brilliant Sundon filly Escapee who won both Trotting Derbies, the Oaks and the Hambletonian Classic during her 3-year-old season.

Isolate is the fifth stakes performer from Father Patrickʻs current season crop of 3-year-olds in New Zealand, with the others the Group 1 winners High Energy and Confessional, along with The Ivy League and Fearless.

Father Patrick is currently second on the NZ 3YO Trotting Sires Premiership and leads the 2YO Trotting Sires List.
