A trio of Father Patrick 2-year-olds remain unbeaten after the latest round of Grand Circuit racing in North America over the weekend.

One of the most impressive 2-year-old trotting fillies this season to date, Sister Sledge, kept her undefeated record intact with a runaway five and three-quarter length win in an Arden Downs division at The Meadows.

The $35,000 Harrisburg purchase has won all four of her race-day starts this season, plus her three earlier qualifiers.

At The Meadowlands, the regally bred Crucial (Father Patrick – Jolene Jolene) made it two wins from two starts with a comfortable win over fellow Father Patrick filly Sherry Lyns Lady in the third of the James Doherty Memorial eliminations.

The $200,000 blueblood will clash with another unbeaten juvenile, the Chapter Seven filly Hypnotic AM, in this weekend’s $350,000 Final.

The promising Per Engblom trained colt Synergy also notched up his second win in as many starts at the same venue, taking out his Peter Haughton Memorial elimination over another Father Patrick colt in Stay Close.

It was the second Grand Circuit win to date for the $275,000 Lexington purchase, with the youngster having easily claimed a Kindergarten leg by four lengths at his only other start.

Aside from the three unbeaten 2-year-olds listed above, Father Patrick also sired the Arden Downs division winner Penance and the James Doherty elimination place-getters Panem and Word Of Honor.
