First Australian winner for Creatine

Creatine has notched up his first Australian winner, and in some style too, siring the first two runners home in a $10,000 heat of the 2YO Trotters Foundation Series at Menangle on April 27.

His son Major Creation put in a flawless performance on debut to lead for the majority of the mile race, hold off the late challenge of Creatine filly Itzfergietime, who flashed home from well back in the field, and score by a margin of half a neck.

Bred and raced by former Nevele R Australian rep Michael Taylor, Major Creation is out of the winning Bacardi Lindy mare Lime And Lemonade.

The runner-up Itzfergietime is also a homebred, bred and raced by Kerry and Andrew Towers she is the first foal out of the 13-win Yankee Paco mare Chevaux Rainbow.
