Marcoola is on the board as a sire!
Rogue Hero was a smart winner on debut at Ashburton Raceway on Saturday.
Parked for the last lap, the Ken Ford and Amanda Tomlinson trained 3-year-old kicked clear in the straight and then held out the fast finishing race favourite Waterloo Station to score by three-quarters of a length, trotting his last quarter in a slick 28.1 seconds.
Bred by Nevele R Stud, Rogue Hero is out of the Quite Easy mare Glenferrie Slipper, a half-sister to the star square-gaiters Allegro Agitato and Skyvalley.
