First winner for Vincent

Vincent is on the board as a sire, with his first starter, the 2-year-old colt Seve winning impressively at Alexandra Park on Friday evening.
The Tony Herlihy trained son of Vincent showed plenty of determination to win, reeling in the pace-maker Frankie Major in the home straight, despite the leader cutting out the final 400m in a swift 27.9 seconds, to win by a nose.
Seve is out of the winning Red River Hanover mare River Belle, making him a half to the $220,000 earner and Group Race winner Miss Riveria Belle.
