Its Rock And Roll cemented himself as one of Western Australia's best juveniles this season with a dominant performance in the $50,000 Group 2 Champagne Classic (2,130m) at Gloucester Park on Friday evening.

The Colin Brown trained and driven gelding led throughout and despite being under siege rounding the home turn the final time, simply kicked clear of his rivals to score by 3.2m from Itz All About Magic and Valbonne.

Already a Group 1 winner of the WA Sales Classic, the son of A Rocknroll Dance has now won three races and $107,050 in stakes.

Bred by Dr. Ed Dewar Its Rock And Roll is out of the Bettor's Delight mare Miss Worthy Whitby, who herself won three races as a juvenile.

The talented youngster will be aimed at the rich Westbred Finals and the Golden Slipper over the next few months.

It was a good night for the first season sire A Rocknroll Dance with his first crop daughter Miss Streisand picking up another Group race placing in New Zealand with a third in the Group 1 Sires Stakes 2YO Fillies Championship at Alexandra Park also on the same evening.
