Lazarus on the board as a sire down-under

Lazarus has sired his first 2-year-old Southern Hemisphere winner.
The Jack Trainor trained Stylish Lazarus was an impressive winner on debut at Bathurst on Wednesday evening, leading for the majority of the trip before kicking clear in the straight to score by 11 metres.
Bred by Dougal Steel, Stylish Lazarus is out of the Art Major mare My Major Rocket, a grand-daughter of the Auckland Cup winner and half-sister to Christian Cullen, Kate’s First.
The filly was sold at the 2021 APG Sydney Yearling for $17,000.
