Muscle Mass 2yo remains unbeaten

Macho Martini extended his unbeaten streak to five races with another impressive front-running victory in a $106,400 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold leg at Woodbine Mohawk Park on August 20 (Canadian time).

The Luc Blais trained son of Muscle Mass dashed to the front from post eight and always looked to have the race in his keeping, maintaining a comfortable lead throughout on route to a one and three-quarter length win in 1:55.8.

The talented youngster’s record now stands at a perfect five wins from five starts and stakes earnings of $193,663 – making him the third richest North American 2-year-old trotter in 2020 to date.

A $37,000 Harrisburg Yearling Sale purchase, Macho Martini is out of the Striking Sahbra mare Peach Martini, a multiple Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Final victor and the winner of almost $600,000 on the track.
