Muscle Mass filly picks up another ONSS Gold division

Talented Muscle Mass filly On A Sunny Day made it two Ontario Sires Stakes (ONSS) Gold leg wins in a row with a dominant performance in a $96,400 leg at Mohawk Racetrack on July 22.

The Luc Blais trained 3-year-old obtained the trail early before coming off the leader's back on the home turn and clearing out to an easy four and half length victory in a lifetime best mark of 1:53.6.

A four time Gold winner at two, On A Sunny Day is the winner of seven of her 11 starts to date and has stakes-earnings approaching $300,000.

Out of the Promising Catch (by Supergill) mare Dicent No, On A Sunny Day is the leading ONSS 3-year-old trotting filly for the year to date.

Her sire Muscle Mass is also enjoying 2-year-old success in the New York Sires Stakes series this season with the promising juvenile filly Plunge Blue Chip having won two legs of the series in her only two starts to date, while fellow unbeaten filly Supergirl Riley is the winner of NYSS leg and a Kindergarten Classic Series leg.
