Millionaire trotting mare Plunge Blue Chip added another stakes win to her already outstanding resume with a tough 1:52.2 victory in the $100,000 Miss Versatility Final on the half-mile Delaware County Fairgrounds track on Little Brown Jug day.

The Ake Svanstedt trained mare took the lead soon after the first turn, withstood pressure from Custom Hanover who sat outside her from the three-quarter pole and then dug deep to fend off the late challenge of Emoticon Hanover, crossing the line a half length clear of the latter.

It was the daughter of Muscle Mass’s 19th lifetime win and boosted her overall career earnings to $1,175,784.

The multiple world record holder is out of the unraced Donato Hanover mare Dunk The Donato and was a $42,000 purchase at the 2016 Harrisburg Yearling Sales.
