The Ake Svanstedt trained pair Six Pack and Plunge Blue Chip were in record breaking form at Yonkers Raceway on September 1, with Six Pack taking out the $500,000 Yonkers Trot in race record time and Plunge Blue Chip smashing the all-age track record in the $129,000 Hudson Trot Final.

Six Pack (pictured) simply monstered his rivals in the $500,000 feature trot for 3-year-old colts and geldings.

Sweeping to the lead by the quarter pole marker, the giant colt left the field in his wake over the last quarter, sprinting clear to take a crushing seven and three-quarter length victory over the second placed Helpisontheway.

Six Pack's time of 1:54 flat was a stakes-race record for the Yonkers Trot, when held at Yonkers Raceway.

The Muscle Mass colt is the winner of 10 races to date and $849,840 in stakes.

He is the richest male trotter for the year to date in North America and is the second highest earning trotter overall, behind only the Hambletonian winner, Atlanta.

As impressive as Six Pack was, like she did at the Meadowlands in mid-July on Stanley Dancer Memorial night, Plunge Blue Chip once again upstaged her stable-mate, with a stunning track record (and world record equalling) performance in the Hudson Trot Final for 3-year-old fillies.

The fastest 3-year-old trotter of all time, Plunge Blue Chip burned to the lead from her inside draw and poured the pressure on throughout the mile, and with only her Zweig Memorial conqueror, Supergirl Riley (also by Muscle Mass), able to go with her in the concluding stages, she fought resolutely to score by a neck at the line in an incredible 1:53.2 on the tight half-mile track.

Not only was her time an all age track record for a trotter, it also equalled the fastest ever time recorded by a 3-year-old trotter on a half-mile track, making it two world records to date for the brilliant filly.

Only ever out of the top three once, Plunge Blue Chip is the winner of 13 races and $732,316 in prize-money to date.

The pair's sire, Muscle Mass is currently North America's second leading sire of 3YO Trotters - behind only Cantab Hall.
