Niki Hill a class above in Matron Stakes

Always B Miki filly Niki Hill made light work of winning the $123,950 Matron Stakes for 3YO Pacing Fillies at Dover Downs on Thursday, coasting to an uncontested 1:49.8 victory.

Mid field through the early stages, Niki Hill moved to the lead past the three-quarter pole and drew away to win by three and a half lengths from Boudoir Hanover.

It was her 12^th win from just 16 starts and took her earnings to $1,382,959.

The 2021 US 2YO Pacing Filly of the Year is out of the Bettor’s Delight mare Road Bet.
