The Always B Miki filly Niki Hill made light work of her latest Grand Circuit win, easily taking out the $359,450 Three Diamonds for 2-year-old pacing fillies at The Meadowlands on Saturday.

The Chris Ryder trained and Dexter Dunn driven filly avoided trouble early on when the galloping Always Gonna B You came back through the field, then took control of the race with a move to the lead through the second quarter.

Once in front the result was never really in any doubt, with the divisional leader keeping a comfortable break on the field and coasting to a one and three quarter length win over Treacherous Dragon, with a gap of seven lengths back to the third placed Don’t Fence Me In.

Niki Hill has now won nine of her 10 starts and is the richest juvenile pacer in North America in 2021, with earnings of $960,784.

A $155,000 Lexington Select sales purchase, Niki Hill is out of the $380,000 earning Bettor’s Delight mare Road Bet, making her a half to this year’s William Haughton Memorial and Graduate Series winner Cattlewash.
