Leading North American sophomore Six Pack is now the fastest 3YO trotter in history, with the son of Muscle Mass winning the  $434,000 Kentucky Futurity Final in a sensational 1:49.2 at The Red Mile today.

Coming off a 1:50.4 heat win just three races earlier, Six Pack took control of the Final through the second quarter, pouring on the speed in the back half to win by one and three-quarter lengths from the Canadian Trotting Classic winner Crystal Fashion, in a sublime 1:49.2. The Hambletonian runner-up Met's Hall was third, a further one and three-quarter lengths back.

Already the fastest ever 3-year-old male trotter, with a 1:50 score at The Meadowlands back in July, Six Pack is now the fastest 3-year-old square-gaiter of all time regardless of gender - with today's performance bettering Muscle Mass filly and stable-mate Plunge Blue Chip's previous all-comers record by three-fifths of a second.

Six Pack has now won 13 races and $1,156,715 in stakes-money. His 2018 earnings of $958,073 make him the second richest trotter in North America to date this year.

Bred by Brittany Farms, Six Pack is out of a Cantab Hall half-sister to Great Success.

Earlier on the card, the Muscle Mass filly Plunge Blue Chip equalled her own world record for a 3-year-old trotting filly when defeating Atlanta and Manchego in a heat of the Kentucky Filly Futurity in 1:49.8.
