It was a big weekend for A Rocknroll Dance with two new stakes winners, Rock On Top and Fire Island Dance, in Australia.

First up, Rock On Top proved too strong in the Group 2 APG Gold Bullion Final for 2-year-old colts and geldings at Gloucester Park on Friday night.

The Aiden De Campo trained and driven gelding sped to the front off the gate and ran out an easy winner of the $50,000 feature by more than four lengths in a smart 1:55.3 mile rate.

Bred by Steve Johnson, Rock On Top is out of the Grinfromeartoear mare Harper Grace, making him a half to the recent Group 2 APG Sales Classic 3YO Fillies winner Just For Love.

The following evening at Menangle, Island Fire Dance ran her rivals ragged in the Group 3 Fairfield Golden Easter Egg for 3-year-old fillies.

In front throughout, Island Fire Dance kicked clear of her rivals at the 600m mark and careered away to a nine length win, rating 1:52 for the mile race.

Island Fire Dance is the first foal of the three win Courage Under Fire mare Island Under Fire.
