3-year-olds by Father Patrick took out two of the four age-group trotting features contested on Sun Stakes day at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.

The Ake Svanstedt trained Fly Light recorded the biggest win of his career to date in the $200,000 Earl Beal Jr. Memorial Consolation, trotting home strongly to score by three-quarters of a length in a new lifetime mark of 1:52.

The lightly raced gelding has now won close to $250,000 in stakes.

Out of the race placed Credit Winner mare Hustle Heart, Fly Light is a grandson of the 2008 Hambletonian Oaks winner Creamy Mimi.

The consistent Father Patrick filly Dazzling Reign made it five wins from nine starts in 2021 with a scintillating victory in the $125,000 Delmonica Hanover Consolation, charging home late from the back of the field to win by one and three-quarter lengths.

Dazzling Reign has now won 6 races and $125,749 in stakes money.

She is out of the unraced Broadway Hall mare Broadway Chuckles.
